Featured Classifieds in Transistor Radios

This is a National Panasonic R-8 jewel box 6 transistor radio.   These radios are are cute   They were designed to look a lot like a fifties Hi-Fi console radio/record player.  They have top compartment to put small jewelry or other items in.  They were sort of a novelty radio with an actual use.  Many were probably to be found on dressers and night stands while many probably, even in the early sixties when they were made went straight to the decorative items shelf. This radio does work well and has no real flaws other than the most minor oif corrosion on one battery connection spring.

Here is a nice, near new in box 2 transistor 'Boy's Radio'.   This one is Ivory in color and has no real flaws other than a slightly corroded battery terminal.  It shows minimal signs of life but doesn't work.  Also, the little screw in antenna is missing.  The radio's and the external carrying case are both in good shape. Here is a nice Spica ST-600 6 transistor radio with a very nice heavy leather case.  This radio is in very nice shape except for a left side chip and repair.  The chip isn't too noticable since the inner lip of the back mostly fills it in with the radio case's blue color, at least.  This radio works well   This is another very nice, arguable deco, transistor radio that would be nice to compliment any radio collection   Actual shipping costs are additional.  There is NO 'handling fee'.  This item may be returned for a period of seven days provided it is returned in the like condition that it was sent.  I can in no way be responsible for uninsured items. 

Here is a gernerally very good red Emerson 888 'Pioneer' middle-late fifties coat pocket transistor radio.   The case could use a little poishing and the dial scale has a little missing paint.  There is also a crease in the lower portion of the grille which is typical for this radio.  There are NO cracks or chips and the radio works well with very good sensitivity across the entire dial.  It also sounds quite good.  There is one battery terminal with minor corrosion which presents no physical or operational problems.  The chassis is very clean. Actual shipping costs are additional.   This item may be returned in the condition in which it was shipped for 10 days.  Insurance is strongly recommended.  I cannot be responsible for uninsured items.
