Messner 18-2950 Signal Splicer Coils (Pair - NIB) Messner 18-2950 Signal Splicer Coils (Pair - NIB)

Here is a PAIR of NIB Meissner 18-2950 Signal Splicer coils.   I am not sure what these were used for.  There is reference to a Meissner Effect when you Google this item.  They may be from the very early days of television.  Mostly, they are good 1.25" standard tubes style 4 pin base brown mottled bakelite coil forms.  The existing coils shouldn't be too difficult to remove if you don't need it.  I would think that they would be good for a simple, vintage era receiver or transmitter project. Actual shipping costs are additional.   This item may be returned in the condition in which it was shipped for 10 days.  Insurance is strongly recommended.  I cannot be responsible for uninsured items.

Karas Orthometric Log Variable Condenser - NIB! Karas Orthometric Log Variable Condenser - NIB!

This is a very neat old radio part that is new in its worn but still very attractive box.  It is a Karas Orthometric TM Condenser.   This a logaritmic variable capacitor that was designed to give 'EQUAL SEPARATION of every one of the 100 wavelengths between 200 and 600 meters'.  Further, 'With Karas Orthometrics every point on your dial from 1-100 is a separate wavelength'.  This condesnser is a beauty to look at with chrome plating, brass, and copper parts plus black bakelte insulator plates, and knurled nut waire attachments.  This is a very nice piece of early radio history and, frankly, it wasn't a bad idea either  Actual shipping costs are additional.  There is NO 'handling fee'.  This item may be returned for a period of seven days provided it is returned in the like condition that it was sent.  I can in no way be responsible for uninsured items.
